  • Ryoan-ji to the Silver Pavilion

    This day will include some of the most important UNESCO sites in Kyoto, including the famous Ryoan-ji rock garden, the Golden Pavilion, tea houses, the Silver Pavilion, and the Philosopher’s Trail. Be ready to take cabs between the temples and to walk great distances.

  • Nishiki Market to Gion

    A walking tour starts with the Nishiki food market through the heart of Kyoto. We will stop at shrines and a historic shopping street. This excursion includes some of the most amazing streets and atmospheres in Kyoto. Along the way, you will see Kodai-ji temple, where there is a Rikyu tea house. The tour ends in Gion.

  • Arashiyama to Adashino Nenbutsu-ji

    Northwestern Kyoto has some of the most natural scenery, with river and mountain views. It is home to the bamboo forest and Zen temples. We will take a neighborhood train to Arashiyama to start the day and end at Adashino Nenbutsu-ji Temple, one of the oldest graveyards in Kyoto.
